Purpose

The level:1 Basic Food Hygiene training is a computer-based PowerPoint presentation with set in videos. It is a one-day training with 4 hours duration; which includes two coffee breaks (5 minutes), a lunch break (30 minutes) and Examination hour (30 minutes).To impart adequate knowledge to achieve the most relevant good hygiene practices pertaining to the basics of food safety and good hygiene practices in food distribution businesses.

Who can attend

All food handlers engaged in food handling in the low-risk food business and food service industries like foodstuff trading, foodstuff warehouses, groceries, coffee shops, supermarket without catering etc. in the  Emirates Dubai in line with the requirements of the Food Control Department of Dubai Municipality. International students will be awarded HABC, U K International certificates.

Training Prerequisites

All candidates must attend a basic food hygiene training course. They must have valid ID proof like Emirates ID or Labor Card or Passport with visa page and the business should be registered with DM Food safety department- Food watch. These prerequisites are not applicable for International students.

Evaluation and certification

The answer sheet will be handed over to the technical department for evaluation and those people who obtain minimum 60% score will get the certificate attested from Dubai Municipality or from the international awarding body
 Dubai Municipality attested basic food hygiene certificates.
 International awarding body TSI UK certification (Upon Request – Additional Charges are applicable).
