COURSE CONTENT

Understand the cardiovascular system and its importance
Able to recognize a unconscious victim, and commence early
Able to use an AED correctly, safely and rapidly when available
Anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system on the heart
Chain of survival
Principles of resuscitation
Universal precautions
Resuscitation sequence and techniques for one-man CPR
Introduction on AED, features & Indications Dangers associated with AED operations and safety
precaution. Chest preparation
Electrode pad placement AED procedure and troubleshooting documentation & housekeeping

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS COURSE?

Any individuals with interest in CPR and AED or first aid or has been assigned a WSH-related role in the company. Must be physically fit and able to render help to another individual during an emergency.

PRE-REQUISITES / ASSUMED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Able to understand real basic English

CERTIFICATION:

Upon successful completion of the course a certificate endorsed by Tareeq Al Waha Food Safety Consultants will be issued the participants.

Attendance : 100 % (Required)
Passing Mark : 80% for each assessment mode
